55 year old Bernadette Hernandez died as a result of brain aneurysm at the Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Hernandez was reportedly taken to the hospital the previous day after she suffered a heart attack, but unfortunately, she died when doctors couldn’t save her.
Hernandez, a hula dancer and singer who was born in the Philippines, immigrated to Hawaii.
Mars (real name Peter Gene Hernandez) has four sisters who sing together in a group called the Lylas, and a brother who plays the drums in Mars’ band.
