DEVELOPING STORY: Nigerian alternative singer and first winner of West African Idols Timi Dakolo and the mother of his son Busola are currently in the city of Ilorin, in Kwara State where they will exchange wedding vows today.
Sources had hinted, early this morning, of the planned wedding. And we have just now gotten confirmation from a Now Muzik executive.
‘Yes it’s true, Timi is getting married today in Ilorin’, Tony ‘Don T’ Anifite told NET in a phone conversation.
‘Timi doesn’t want the wedding publicized, that’s why he’s keeping it on a hush hush‘, one of the singer’s friends told us this morning.
In October 2011, we reported the talented singer had welcomed his first child Alex with Busola and ex-Zenith Bank staff back in 2010. Only last week, we published cute pictures of the singer with his son.
Dakolo released his debut album ‘Beautiful Noise‘ last year to amazing critical acclaim.
