BellaNaija Boss Uche Eze To Wed Bode Pedro

Here’s some great news we’re happy to share: blogger, entrepreneur and founder of Nigeria’s most popular fashion and lifestyle blog Uche Eze, and founder/CEO of Veda Technologies, Bode Pedro are getting married!

Uche, who’s the brain behind BellaNaija, has been dating Bode, son of a former deputy governor of Lagos, Femi Pedro, for almost three years now. And very close sources to the couple say they’re hoping to make their union permanent ‘very soon’.

‘Bode has proposed already‘, an insider tells us. ‘And Uche was happy to say yes‘.

When we spotted Miss Eze at Eko Hotel and Suites recently, she had on an engagement band we believe is the diamond ring Bode gave her.

‘So so happy for them. They’re good for each other and I really wish them all the happiness in the world‘ one of Uche’s friends tells us.

The young entrepreneurs have known each other for years, even though they’ve not always been this close. They both attended Atlantic Hall secondary school in Lagos.

It’s uncertain how their paths crossed again, but we’re told they’ve been dating for years; usually enjoying quiet nights out together, and making sure they keep their relationship away from the prying eyes of reporters.

Here’s our conversation with Miss Eze…

NET:  Goodmorning   Uche

Uche: Goodmorning

NET:  There are reports that you are engaged to Vera Computer boss, Bode Pedro and we are calling to confirm that.

Uche: I’m really sad anybody would inform or send you such rumour. I’m not a celebrity or anything, I’m just a young entrepreneur in the industry who works and lives a normal life. Honestly I am grateful for the professional way you guys operate with stories by not publishing based on rumour unlike some media, you confirm first before publishing. That’s great. But I really see no reason why anyone would be interested in publishing stories in a newspaper about my personal life. Rumours have been flying around and I will really appreciate people or the media staying out of my personal life.

NET: So, Uche are you saying the rumour is true?

Uche: You see, that’s the point. I am not a celebrity and will be glad if my personal life is kept  private. I read your publications and yes, you guys are doing a great job by publishing great stories on celebs and events, but I would love it if am not included as I doubt who my story will ever interest.
