Who better to be crowned the week’s royalty than the Royals?
For the fourth week in Big Brother’s house, Tsatsii and Ebubu rose above other pairs of housemates in a fiercely contested challenge to become the Head of House.
For the first round of games, each pair of housemates had to choose a representative to throw three balls to a designated target within three minutes. As expected, Kaniva — Kanaga Jnr and Blue Aiva, as the incumbent Head of House, were exempted from the challenge.
Housemates huffed and puffed but Yvonne saw disqualification for flouting the rules of the game by stepping over the designated line, which meant that Justin was also out of the game.
Housemates who made it through to the next round of games were required to flip cups one by one using their fingers. Each cup, which must either land in an upright position or upside down, has to be flipped before moving on to the next, with the pair of housemates with the most flips proceeding to the final round.
Cups clattered as fingers flipped but only Royals and Maya (Marvin and Yaya) made it into the final round. Again, the two pairs had to choose a representative: while Tsatsii represented the Royals, Yaya was selected to represent the Maya pair.
“It’s a game of precision and time management”, echoed Big Brother as the two finalists assembled to go head to head. They were required to arrange numbers in ascending order on a square board and run to their seat when the task was completed.
At the climax, Tsatsii emerged victorious, ensuring that the title, Royals, truly precedes them. For their win, the Royals get immunity from the week’s evictions and get access to the HoH Lounge.
For their half-hearted performance, Juvone took the tail of the house for the second week in a row.
