We bring you a highlight of all the twists, turns, ‘ships’, drama and tasks from the third week of the BBNaija show.
Big Brother and New Housemates
In yet another twist, Big Brother introduced two new housemates to the show.
The housemates, Chizzy and Rachel, referred to as riders, are housemates who would be allowed to compete on the show, be nominated but cannot be evicted and would not be allowed to win the grand prize of ₦100M.
Christy O and Cyph Are First Evictees
For the first-ever eviction for the BBNaija Level Up season, Christy O and Cyph got evicted. They were nominated alongside Phyna, Amaka and Khalid after Level 2 lost the Head of House games on Monday.
Beauty disqualified.
Beauty, issued two strikes by Biggie, was disqualified.
The ex-beauty queen received two extra strikes for throwing items at his fellow housemate Groovy in a heated moment.
Adekunle Crowned the Head of House
In the third week’s HoH game, housemates were required to use spoons to transport beads from a pitcher and affix it to a string, ensuring that they recreate a replica provided.
Modella and Sheggz were disqualified for flouting the rules, while Pharmsavi, Khalid and Adekunle entered the finals.
Adekunle scored the most points, winning the challenge. On the other hand, Groovy, with the least points, became the Tail of the House.
Level 2 to Go Down by One or More
Khalid, Ilebaye, Phyna, Bryann and Groovy are up for nomination. At least one of the level two housemates will be evicted from the show on Sunday.
Different Levels; Same Game
In a crazy twist, housemates were asked to swap living areas. Level 1 housemates were asked to move into Level 2 and vice versa.
While Level 1 housemates were shocked to see the compact blue-hued house, Level 2 housemates were psyched to be introduced to a ‘mansion’, as Phyna called it.
Sinking ships and Sailing Ones.
Deji appears to be channelling his inner Yoruba demon as he believes Doyin, Chichi and Chomzy are some of the housemates who are after him. Among the trio, he seems drawn to Chichi, and we can’t see what the coming days bode for both of them.
In a complex triangle, Amaka and Phyna appear to be at variance because of Groovy. After the disqualification of Beauty, the former saw it as an opportunity to get in on the pink-haired housemate.
Phyna is winning the battle, though, as she was in bed with Groovy on one of the cold nights.
Level 2 Housemates Win the Wager Task.
With the inevitable rivalry between both camps, It was fever pitch in the BBNaija house at the wager task as housemates put their creativity to use in the fashion task presentation.
Using Ankara fabrics, housemates were asked to prepare Gen Z-inspired clothing and prepare a runway show to showcase their designs.
Level 1, whom Big Brother adjudged to have done too much, lost. Of course, Level 2 won the task, turning their tide of successive losses for the better.
