Following their eviction from the BBNaija No Loose Guard edition, the TAMI duo—Dami and Toyosi—have addressed rumours of a rift between them.
The duo sat with Ebuka Uchendu and a now-viral video suggested that Toyosi wanted space from Dami, suggesting a rift between the two.
In a chat with media personalities, Toyosi was quick to dispel any misconceptions about their relationship. “I did not say I needed space from Dami,” she clarified. “I said we need to process our feelings separately and move forward from it.”
Toyosi had mentioned in the interview with Ebuka that she thought Dami was beating herself up. Dami said “I feel like if I had acted better, if the kitchen issue didn’t happen, or people weren’t offended about the kitchen incident, then we wouldn’t be out.
Toyosi had already formed some connections and friendships in the house. However, she explained that people did not want to interact with her as much after the kitchen altercation

They shared their thoughts on the competition and their hopes for the remaining contestants. Their departure from the house has not dampened their enthusiasm for the show or their appreciation for the friendships they formed during their time on BBNaija.
“We’re rooting for everybody because all the housemates deserve a chance and they know what they’re doing,” they said.
