Dreadlocked Big Brother Africa 2013 housemate, Angelo Colins, has debunked lingering rumours of an affair between him and former housemate, Beverly Osu.
He wrote on his twitter page recently, ‘There has and will never be…me and Beverly…just wanted to clear that up…now let’s move on with life.’
This will come as a shock to many of their fans who have been rooting for the pair since the first day they declared love for each other while in the house. The two became inseparable and even had steamy sessions at different times, although Beverly denies they ever had sex. Their closeness continued even after the show had ended, and Angelo made an appearance at her birthday party.
One wonders what could have caused their separation and Angelo’s declaration.
Sources close to Beverly had earlier revealed that the relationship will not last as her mother never really liked Angelo because of his hairstyle and personality. Distance, maturity and change of plans, others say, could have been contributing factors.
However, Osu seems unfazed as she is yet to respond to Angelo’s assertion. This is another case of BBA-love-turned-sour, following that of Goldie and Prezzo which never saw the light of day.
