The producer of the awards, Seun Oloketuyi stated that the event will be attended by the State’s First Lady, Judith Amaechi, nominees and industry players.
Reacting to the news, Mcwizu says ‘I am excited about my choice as host of the nominees’ unveil because the BON Awards has grown to become one of Nigeria’s biggest awards ceremonies for practitioners in the movie industry and it is a great honour to be singled out as anchor for one of the most important days in the annual calendar of Nollywood.’
The BON Awards will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2014, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
