The past few weeks have seen the duo of Wizki
d and Davido constantly exchange spats via social media and making conscious efforts to outdo each other; a feud their fans and the media have found interesting.
The latest twist to the drama is Davido’s announcement of his plans to release a few songs ahead of his sophomore album, which will allegedly be released sometime in 2015.
‘New records drop this week’ he wrote on his Twitter page on Sunday, October 5, 2014, three weeks after Wizkid released his sophomore album Ayo, which clinched the number one spot on iTunes’ world music chart in less than 24 hours.
Pundits have since reacted, saying the success of Wizkid’s album could be what prompted Davido into releasing this new music.
