Spanish disciplinary committee is considering sanctioning Barcelona supporters for chanting ‘Ronaldo is a drunk’ during the club’s La Liga clash against Levante.
According to reports of the match between the Spanish giants and Levante on Sunday, February 15, 2015, officiating officials revealed in their report that a song was aimed at Real Madrid striker, Cristiano Ronaldo who was captured dancing at his 30th birthday party despite his club’s derby defeat to Atletico Madrid on the same day.
The Spanish League, alongside Anti-Violence Committee could issue out a sanction on Barcelona supporters today, February 17, 2015. If the measure is carried out, it will not be the first time such would come into play. A similar scenario played out in 2014 when 17 Real Madrid supporters were expelled for chanting ‘Messi is retarded’ in a La Liga match.
