The 21 year old keeper was one of the best players in Manchester United’s winning season, earning plaudits from analysts who criticized his shaky start.
But Sir Alex Ferguson is highly unlikely to sell his promising keeper to Barcelona. The Scotsman isn’t in the habit of selling potentially great players of his to other clubs.
Barcelona is keen on rebuilding their squad after they were trashed 7-0 by Bayern Munich in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Current Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes isn’t expected to renew his contract which runs out in 2014.
