Today, December 24, 2014, artiste manager, vocalist and A&R expert, John Oluwaseun Abisagboola, popularly known as Bankulli is a year older.
Bankulli is a graduate of Zoology from the University of Ibadan who began his journey into the music terrain as a church choir master, organist and vocalist. After graduation, he went to the UK where he worked as an intern with the Ayo Shonaiya and DJ Abass-led R70 Company where he became the first solo manager for D’banj and Don Jazzy after they ended their relationship with R70.
He later floated Bankulli Entertainment and has over the years worked with top acts like JJC & 419 Squad, KWAM 1, Mo’Hits Records, Yemi Sax, D’banj, DB records and numerous up and coming acts.
Presently, he manages Wande Coal and Seyi Sodimu.
