Saidat ‘Avala’ Balogun was 27 years old when she first stepped on the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) stage in 2019, but her stay in the house was short-lived. She was evicted in the first week after spending just seven days in the house.

Two years after her premature eviction that almost erased her footprint in the minds of viewers, Avala returned to a bigger BBNaija stage on Sunday, October 3, 2021, to entertain millions of viewers across 40 African countries and the United Kingdom at the grand finale of the show.
What is the best way to give a setback the middle finger? By massive success.
Avala, one of the young and rising music stars who headlined the much-anticipated live finale show, looked adorable in a black jumpsuit.
She dazzled the audience and millions of viewers with her new single ‘No More’ featuring Ozbeazy. And the lyrics of the song? It is the perfect narration of her journey from an ex-housemate with almost no footprints in the BBNaija house to one of the centres of attention at the BBNaija 2021 finale.
“God’s time is the best thing. I’m investing, grinding, till the cheques in….” And that’s what her story is about, investing and grinding till the best thing – God’s time eventually comes.
The 29-year-old singer studied music and business at York College, Queens, New York. She featured Dr Sid in her song titled ‘Give Me Chance’, and her ambition to spread her music across the world may just have received another major boost with her performance at the BBNaija finale last Sunday.
