3 weeks ago, NET exclusively reported that Majek Fashek’s now former wife, Rita and son will be heading to Nigeria to ‘save’ the veteran singer and help get him into rehab.
The good news now is that plans are in top gear to make the trip a success. Already, an online fundraising campaign has been launched to help gather funds and from our investigations, the response to the campaign is fair.
In a recent chat with one of his former back up singers, Monica Omorodion Swaida who’ll be part of the trip as well and she confirmed to NET thus: ‘We are coming to Nigeria next month to finalise our project with Majek. Everything is going as planned.’
A few days ago, his now former wife, Rita Fashek shared a video on Youtube where she passionately pleaded with Nigerians to help donate more towards the campaign to save Majek.
