The Asian Confederation (AFC) has named Ghana captain and Al Ain striker, Asamoah Gyan as the Best Foreign Player in Asia for 2014.
The Black Stars captain received his award on Saturday, December 19, 2014 before his training session with his UAE club, Al Ain after his heroics in the 2014 Champions League where he emerged top scorer with 12 goals to beat his rival, Nasser Al-Shamrani of Al Hilal.
Asamoah Gyan was official signed to Al Ain in 2012 after completing a loan spell with the Asian club in 2011.
