The queen is back! A few months after the release of her hit single ‘Mayana,’ award-winning singer, Asa, has dropped another single, ‘Ocean.’
‘Ocean’ produced by P.Priime is her second rollout off her highly anticipated fifth studio album, ‘V.’
P.Priime had produced the lead single of the album, ‘Mayana’, which was released in December 2021. The single has amassed over 1.3 million streams worldwide.
The Asa, P.Priime collaboration is particularly magical because P.Priime had revealed in an interview with PAM in 2020 that his dream collaboration was with Asa.
Asa released her last album, ‘Lucid’, that birthed hit singles like ‘The Beginning’ and ‘Murder In The USA’ in 2019.
She revealed that she would be exploring her sounds in the 10-track album to be released in February.
She took to Twitter to thank WurLD for co-writing ‘Ocean.’ ‘Love to you @thisiswurld for writing this with me and the beautiful vocals in the Background 💙🌊 #OCEAN,’ Asa said.
The music video, directed by Meji Alabi, has garnered over 64,000 views worldwide since its release on February 18, 2022.
