Asa Asika is back as the manager of one of Nigeria’s biggest musicians, Davido.
It was just a day after Davido performed at D’banj’s Koko Concert in December 2012, that Asa was fired as Davido’s manager due to financial disputes and other undisclosed reasons.
Then, insiders in Davido’s camp told theNETng that dropping Asa was ‘an executive decision’, saying many stakeholders believe someone ‘more matured’ should handle the artiste whose future was then promising.

Asa was 22, while Davido recently turned 20 at the time.
‘HKN feel he should have stronger management’, a rep from the label said.
The artiste manager has made his return as a 26-year-old, and we are skeptical that he’s more matured to take the role again, knowing how BIG Davido has become.
