Arsene Wenger on Thursday, January 12, got a triple delight after the club completed the contract extensions of French trio Francis Coquelin, Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud.
Koscielny signed a three-and-a-half year deal to run to 2020 worth £80,000 per week.
Giroud and Coquelin meanwhile signed £90,000 per week, two-and-a-half year and £75,000 per week, four-and-a-half year contracts respectively.
Wenger, while talking to club’s website, said, ‘We are very pleased that three important members of our team have committed to us for the long term.’
The Arsenal manager will likely now focus on getting star players, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, to sign new deals before the expiration of his deal this summer.
On the field however, he is preparing the club for the trip to face Swansea City in a Premier League match on Saturday, January 14, 2017.
