Arsenal FC fans in Nigeria will ber super excited to know that three of club’s footballers Per Mertesacker, Lucas Podolski and Bacary Sagna found time out of their busy workout schedule and match fixtures to hang out in Nigeria.
The trio touched down in Lagos, Nigeria, on Saturday evening, ready for a series of events with fans and Club partners. They left the country this morning after attending a fun party with fans at Eko Hotels on Sunday.
The trio’s visit which was powered by a three-year partnership between Malta Guinness and Arsenal FC will also see the Gunners visit Ghana, Kenya, Cameroon, Uganda and Tanzania.
An August 5 match fixture between the London side club and a Nigerian football club was cancelled few weeks ago. Arsenal pulled out of the fixture citing ‘a result of complexities linked to the planned game’.
