After a few months of stiff competition amidst tension and uncertainty, a winner has finally emerged from the first season of The Voice Nigeria.
A’rese Emokpae, a 28 year-old stage actress, who has appeared in various theatre acts and musicals, took the much coveted position after competing against Chike, Brenda, Cornell, Patrick, Viveeyan, Nonso Bassey and Dewe.
Ladies’ man and crowd favourite, Chike, was the first runner up, followed by Brenda and Cornell; two equally great performers.

Here’s how Nigerians reacted to the final results

A’RESE didn’t come to compete with anyone. She was in a class of her own. A star. No hype!! #TheVoiceNigeria

To me, Brenda is the winner. Am sure she is going to be very big in the music industry even without winning the voice #TheVoiceNigeria

What do you think? Did she deserve to win? If not, who should have taken the crown?
