Last night at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA), Bukky Ajayi was honoured with ‘Industry Merit Award’ alongside Sadiq Daba, who was absent at the ceremony.
The 82-year-old ‘Mother of George’ actress, who cried during her acceptance speech, attended the event in a wheel chair.

The standing ovation and emotional moments didn’t ended at the Eko Hotels venue of the ceremony, as the topic was moved to social media and the responses from celebrities and fans were passionate and overflowing.
