According to research on sexual violence, one in four girls and one in 10 boys will have experienced sexual violence before they turn 18, and only about 5% of these victims will receive any help.
With that in mind, Nigerian entertainers recently teamed up with Global Rights, an international human rights organization, to start a campaign to end sexual violence in the country.
AMVCA winner Tope Tedela, film-makers Ego Boyo and Bose Oshin alongside singers Aramide, David-B and actor Charles Granville were officially announced as celebrity ambassadors for the campaign.
