Amo clan continued their resurgence in Amorokin Camp as they won the day’s Spin and Spell task ahead of their competitors, Irin and Iroko.
The day began brightly for the clan as Damola had found a boomerang the night before on top of the kitchen shortly after returning from the Place of the Talking Drum. This brought the number of people in possession of the Boomerang in the Amo clan to two.
Perhaps this contributed to how the Amo clan approached the day’s task, as it was clear from the beginning that they were aiming for the top. According to the instruction given by Toke Makinwa, who is the host, the clan were to divide themselves into two. One pair was to climb a tricky ladder to pick up a sack and then release the other sacks attached to the base of a twist before navigating across a zigzag platform to deliver them. The second pair was to arrange the puzzle to spell a single 12-letter word.
Damola was off the block, and with Osas, another member of the Amo clan, the two were the first to retrieve the bags. Then came the part where they had to solve the puzzles. The three clans struggled to figure out the word until the taskmaster, Kunle Remi, told them that two of the letters were not part of the mystery word.
Then came the moment of inspiration when Damola of the Amo clan stepped back, looked at the letter and eureka, found out that the word was FERMENTATION, thereby giving the Amo clan another win.
This guaranteed that all members of the Amo clan would be proceeding to the individual task stage while the Irin and Iroko clan would lose at least one member each to eviction.
