Amir Khan has apologised to fellow boxer, Anthony Joshua, for accusing him of having an affair with his estranged wife, Faryal Makhdoom.
The 30-year-old had been involved in a tweet fight with Faryal in which he also accused her of being a gold digger.
Faryal on her part had denied those allegations, saying it was Khan who was actually the cheat, adding that he was on holiday in Dubai with another woman at the time.

Heavyweight champ, AJ meanwhile simply wished them well as he hoped they resolved their issues, saying he did not have an affair with Faryal.
Good to be back home with my family and friends.

Now, Khan, who’s back in the UK, has moved to clear the mess of their fight, with Faryal also saying they are trying to patch things up.

Khan then apologised to AJ in a retweet of Faryal’s tweet:
@anthonyfjoshua glad all is cleared up and all lies. I got angry like any man would. No truth to it. Good to know. All the best https://t.co/mYV3mdLtR6
