‘Tha Carter V’ is a 23 track project with feature appearances from hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, XXXTentacion, Nicki Minaj, Ashanti, Mack Maine, Reginae Carter, and Sosamann.
‘Tha Carter V’s release should serve as a celebratory moment for the rapper who was caught up in a web of legal complications over the years between his self-owned label, Young Money Entertainment and parent label, Cash Money.
However, the issues between both music labels and Universal Music Group was eventually quashed in June with Wayne receiving some cash settlement.
Producers who worked with him on the album include Swizz Beatz, Metro Boomin, Mannie Fresh, DJ Mustard, Dr. Dre, Ben Billions, Z3N, and more.
The ‘Tha Carter V’ album is one of the most anticipated music projects in hip-hop and it will be interesting to see what numbers it will do on its first week.
