From the city to rural Maasai Masa, Kenya, American pop star, Joe Jonas spent over a week on a Me to We experiential volunteer charity trip to Kenya last month.
Joe and his brothers have been supporting the Free The Children charity cause for a number of years now.
Being in Kenya for the first time, Joe explored the history and culture of Kenyan communities, interacted and learnt from local community members and also went as far as learning to speak Swahili.
The co-founder of Free The Children and Me to We, Marc Kielburger expressed his joy during the tour and also encouraged everyone to follow the path of Joe, ‘We were thrilled to host Joe Jonas in Kenya this summer and give him a chance to get involved, learn and support communities in need’.
