The #IfNaijaVotes viral movement is spearheaded by a group that goes by the name – Coalition for Change. It comprises of several media platforms including Vote or Quench (www.VoteorQuench.org), Sahara Reporters (www.SaharaReporters.com), EnoughisEnough Nigeria (www.EnoughisEnoughNigeria.com) and Celebrate Progress Africa (www.CP-Africa.com).
The group is encouraging Nigerians, and their well wishers worldwide, to donate their status on various social media platforms using the hashtag: #IfNaijaVotes. The hashtag will serve to encourage the youth to question what proper leadership in Nigeria could do to change the country, highlighting the importance of their participation in the electoral process.
