The late ambassador Olusegun Olushola was laid to rest in his home town, Iperu-remo in Ogun State on Friday, July 20, 2012.
The funeral ceremony is reported to have been attended by quite a number of dignitaries, including Douglas Oronto, who represented
President Goodluck Jonathan, the Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun, former Information Minister Alex Akinyele, Raymond Dokpesi, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka and others.
Olushola passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012, after a brief illness. He was 77 years old.
