
‘Hello’, a hit song originally done by British singer, Adele has gone viral all over the world and Nigerian musicians have followed the trend.
X3M act Praiz dropped his own version of ‘Hello’.
Chocolate City’s diva Ruby Gyang also dropped her own version of ‘Hello’
While some of the best Nigerian musician were testing their vocal power on this hit song, the Jazz genre added its own flavour with a cover by Yemi Sax.
Yemi Sax performed a Jazz version of Adele’s ‘Hello’.
Samklef also raised the bar by shooting a self directed video to his own cover of ‘Hello’, done as a reggae song.


By far the most popular cover by a Nigerian was by female vocalist Omawumi, whose version with reggae version had Sean Tizzle proclaiming on twitter that it is better than the original by Adele, a claim many took exception to.
Upcoming act Sojay did a cover of the song also and had heaads spinning with the emotion laced lyrics.
