Leicester City fell 2-1 at Sevilla of Spain in a first leg UEFA Champions League round of 16 match played at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Wednesday night.
Nigerian international, Ahmed Musa was below-par in the game before being replaced by Demarai Gray after 58 minutes.
Musa’s form reflected through the team, as the struggling English champions were under pressure from the start against Sevilla and were lucky not to be 2-0 down after only 15 minutes.

Leicester defender Christian Fuchs came close to scoring an early own goal while Sevilla forward Joaquin Correa missed a 14th minute penalty.
The Spanish side’s dominance reaped reward after 25 minutes, though, thanks to Pablo Sarabria‘s header. Correa then made up for his missed penalty after 62 minutes to put Sevilla 2-0 up.
Leicester got a lifeline after 73 minutes through Jamie Vardy‘s strike, his first ever Champions League goal.

The important away goal leaves Leicester needing just a 1-0 win in the return leg to qualify for the quarter-final.
In another Champions League round of 16 first leg match played tonight, Juventus came away from Portugal with a 2-0 win over FC Porto thanks to two goals in two minutes from Marko Pjaca and Dani Alves.
