Afro Hollywood awards names Joseph Benjamin as Africa's best actor

Nollywood actor, Joseph Benjamin has been declared African Actor of the Year at a special ceremony held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Stratford Town hall, London for the 17th African Film Awards, otherwise called Afro-Hollywood Awards.

The 6ft actor beat Ghana’s Van Vicker and South Africa’s Jafta Mamabolo to win the title.

An edition was held earlier in the year in Akure, Ondo state where the likes of Tonto Dike, Kiki Omelli, Oge Okoye and others were awarded.
