
Organizers have announced that over 180 movies will be screened during the 5th edition of Africa International Film Festival {AFRIFF}.
They will be viewed across 3 cinemas in Lagos, specifically Silverbird Cinema, Genesis Duluxe Cinema, and City Mall Cinema from October 8 – 15, 2015.
The list include films like Jonas Carpignano‘s Mediterranean and Genevieve Nnaji’s ‘Road To Yesterday’, which are the opening and closing films respectively.
Other feature films to expect at the festival include Akin Omotoso‘s Tell Me Something Sweet, Yared Zeleke‘s Lamb, as well as Desmond Elliot‘s Reflections and more.

“Road to Yesterday” is by my opinion that movie that has appealed to me on what the modern African cinema holds for the future. The lead actor Oris Erhuero has that quality embedded in the entire structure of the movie.
