Organisers of the AFWL (African Fashion Week London) have announced the inclusion of two new designers.
The designers include Ghana’s Brigitte Merki-Ibrahim and Nigeria’s George Adesegun, both of whom are going to take part in the Saturday evening gala show. Other designers on board are London based Anita Quansah and Adebayo Jones.
The lead organiser, Ronke Ademiluyi, confirmed the news of the addition and expressed pleasure with the decision of the duo to use the AFWL as a medium to showcase their creativity to the diasporan audience.
The show, which is in its second edition, will hold at London’s Spitafields Market Halls on Friday, August 3, and Saturday, August 4, 2012.
