Congo beat Burkina Faso beat Les Etalons 2 – 1 while Equatorial Guinea knocked out Gabon 2 -0 as they booked their place in the next stage.
Congo ended the group stage with seven points to top the group A while Equatorial Guinea finished with five points with Gabon and Burkina Faso coming up with just three and one point respectively.
