In a bid to tackle his tax debts issues, Hollywood comedian and actor, Chris Tucker has surprised many by paying off a whopping $1million out of his $12million tax debt.
According to TMZ, the Rush Hour star who owed America’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and State of Georgia huge sums of money in tax, recently sold off his Los Angeles mansion for around $1 million and has started making payments to reduce his tax debts.
The actor is reported to be knee deep in tax problems as the IRS says he owes over $11.5 million in unpaid taxes while the state of Georgia says he owes $590,000 from 2007, all totalling over $12 million.
