It was another week of huge surprises at the MTN Project Fame West Africa show as no contestant left the house!
Contestants Ruth, Chidinma, Isaac, Aziga, Emmanuel and Velma who were up for eviction from last week’s show had another chance to sing the songs that had put them on probation to escape the week’s eviction.
The show was opened by the male contestants Aziga, Emmanuel and Isaac who performed the Boyz II Men classic ‘End of the road’.
After all the performances from the contestants who were on probation, Kwame, Bibi and guest judge Matilda Duncan announced that they would not be any evictions. The reason for the surprise pardon from the judges was because they felt the contestants were ‘quite nervous with their performances’. There was a sigh of relief from the housemates.
‘This is a big surprise for us all but it is definitely a good one! thank you judges for your very kind decision” female host for the show, co-host Adora Oleh cheerfully said.
The female contestants in the academy joyfully closed the show with the song, “We are family” by Sister Sledge.
“All of you have gotten a lot better since you first got into the Project Fame West Africa Academy and I must say…you all swept us off our feet with these songs you chose!” An excited Bibi exclaimed.
“You all were amazing but as usual, there has to be some adjustments. We are putting you on probation not because you didn’t give a nice performance but because we want to see an improvement in your presentation next week.” Guest Judge, R&B Singer, Bez said after the six contestants were put up for eviction.
On Sunday, November 6, 2011, the contestants were allowed to sing songs of their choice and each contestant got the audience, the judges and the faculty dancing, leaving them very entertained. Six contestants were later put on probation after all the performances
The contestants up for eviction next week are Emmanuel, Aziga, Isaac, Zaliha, Ethel and Princess so these contestants have to impress the judges and the audience to escape eviction next week.
Bez and former MTN Project Fame West Africa contestant, Praiz later brought down the house with their wonderful performance.
