MTV Shuga Naija is back! The premiere held last week at IMAX Cinema, Lekki amidst fun and excitement from guests.
While there is always a particular set of people you can always count on finding at these type of events. Here are the five types of personalities we noticed at the #MTVShugaNaija premiere.

1. Those That Came To Take Selfie With Timini And Bolinto
They have been practising what lines they will tell their celebrity crush in the mirror since the year began. They hustled for the tickets to attend like it is an American visa. Nothing and no one could stop them from getting their picture with Timini and Bolinto. They were there for that.
2. The Show Critics
These are the people that have a PhD in television critiquing even though they did not go to university to study it. They know which camera angle is wrong and which costume doesn’t fit which scene. They will critique the show from the beginning to the end and still have notes two days after they’ve seen it.

3. The Social Media Updaters
All their friends on IG, Twitter and WhatsApp knew that they went out last night. They used the official hashtags and even created their own hashtags. They carried two power banks so that they can do live coverage of every single part of the event for their 100 followers.
4. The Over Reactors
They laughed too loud at jokes that weren’t that funny. They closed their eyes during scenes that were not even scary. They cried during scenes that were not that emotional. They are always extra for everything and it was extra annoying.
5. Those Who Haven’t Watched A Single Episode
While it is unimaginable that someone that doesn’t live under a rock has not seen an episode of Shuga, some of these people do exist but will tag along anyways.
MTV Shuga Naija is back on our screens on March 6th, you sure don’t want to miss this season.
