Omawumi went from being a contestant on a singing competition to being a judge. Omawumi broke into the limelight after emerging as the first runner-up on West African Idols. The singer has then gone on to win multiple awards including Headies.
Known for her impressive vocal range which she displayed on songs like In The Music and If You Ask Me, Omawumi was the perfect choice as a judge and she did not disappoint. She also served amazing looks which we took the liberty of picking out our favourites.
1. Traditional Look
We can’t get enough of this look. She wore an ankara dress from Zaynab Saphir NG and paired it with a yellow turban from Detok Beads and Accessories. In line with the traditional theme, Omawumi dazzled us all.
2. The Opening Gala Dress
The beauty of this dress is in its simplicity. She wore a custom-made Omadress by Pearl Reuben. The highlight of the gown is the adjustable sides which give the dress a full-length look or a thigh-high slit.
3. The Blue Mini Dress
The cute blue number is from Lady Beellionaire Luxury and Omawumi wore it to perfection. Sporting her customary afro, Omawumi wore nude makeup which left the dress to do all the talking. It’s one shoulder ruffle sleeve and the mid-thigh length of the dress all combined to have us thanking MTN for making Omwumi a judge.
4. The Monochrome Outfit
Now, this is one for the books. Wearing a monochrome blouse and pants combo from Atafo, Omawumi looked so gorgeous. One thing we love about this look is how her makeup colours matched her shoes. A pop of colour to complement the black and white.
5. The Metallic Suit
For the finale show, Omawumi wore a metallic baby blue three-piece suit made by Atafo. She looked beautiful as we know we’re going to miss seeing her on our screens.
