Rhythm Unplugged
Unarguably the most anticipated concert of the year, the 2015 edition of Rhythm Unplugged will be headlined by American singer, Trey Songz who will be performing in Nigeria for the first time. Already, Nigerian guys have been advised to either keep their girlfriends at home or simply keep an eye on them if they have to turn up together knowing how much the ‘Na Na’ singer sets thirst traps for the females. The concert will also feature top Nigeria acts including Psquare, Olamide and Korede Bello. The 2015 Rhythm Unplugged which is the 11th edition is scheduled to hold on Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island.
Mavin Concert
This event is special for a number of reasons. It is the first time the Mavins will be hosting their own gig which is simply more than enough to set their teeming fans into a frenzied mood. Secondly, the concert will be Tiwa Savage’s first Nigerian stage performance since returning from her maternity leave months ago and again, fans will be expecting to see the gang perform their recently released joint, ‘Janta Manta’ together for the first time. Themed the ‘Access Mavin Concert’, the event comes up On Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Eko Boulevard in Eko Atlantic, Victoria Island.
D’banj’s Koko concert
After an unexplained 2-year hiatus, Koko master, D’banj returns with his annual Koko Concert. The event which last held in 2013 according to the DB Records boss will be coming up in 5 different cities opening on December 5 while the grand finale will be coming up in Lagos on December 29, 2015.
Olamide’s OLIC
YBNL lead act, Olamide will be returning with the sophomore edition of his sold out concert, OLIC (Olamide Live in Concert) on Sunday, December 27, 2015. The gig which is expected to feature label mates like Adekunle Gold and Lil Kesh will be holding at the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel and Suites.
Timaya’s ‘I Concur’ concert
While all the focus is being put in Lagos, DM Records lead act, Timaya will be taking to the stage in Port Harcourt, the city he started his career as a budding singer.
The ‘I Concur’ concert is a very special gig for the people of the South South region as it the first time their favourite artiste will be hosting his own show. The star studded concert which will be held before 3,000 revellers at The Hub will also have performances from 2face, Tiwa Savage, Kcee, Burna Boy, Patoranking and Kiss Daniel as well as Mr 2kay whose record label, Grafton Entertainment is putting the event together.
