Barely two weeks since the storm which hit the Indiana State Fair left five people dead and many injured in the USA, another storm has hit the popular European outdoor rock festival, Pukkelpop Festival in Hasselt, northern Belgium leaving at least three people dead and 71 people injured on Thursday, August 18, 2011.
Belgian media reported that trees were uprooted by the violent storm and smashed into the stage, bringing it down.
Over 62,000 fans were reportedly in attendance with many getting their hopes high to watch the actor-turned-frontman of 30 Seconds to Mars, Jared Leto perform alongside his band last and also the Foo Fighters.
And just has it happened in Indianapolis, the stage also collapsed killing one attendee instantly, according to reports.
