Nigerian reggae artiste Shank has expressed his respect and appreciation for popular R&B act and iconic musician 2face Idibia.
In an exclusive interview with NET, Shank says ‘2face influenced all of us, ask D’banj himself let him not tell you the truth, he made boys know as a young man if you start a career in music it will take you somewhere, he was the guy who told everybody that you can do this, get up and make something for yourself’.
He also talked about his growing up with Seun Kuti and how the Anikulapo Kutis influenced his music career.
Shank whose first Album ‘King Kong‘ had collaborations with Akon and D’banj, recently released his new single ‘Ghetto’.
