2face and Annie holiday in America

The about-to-wed lovebirds have since returned home – after spending several weeks in the United States, in their first extended trip together since the world-famous February 14 wedding proposal.

Annie Macauley and 2face enjoyed time alone together, chilling in Dallas, making wedding preparations and getting to one each other again.

We’re told Idibia spent the past month in the US working on his soon-to-be-released album; only taking a few days off to perform in the UK, and make some US appearances. He also attended at least one video shoot where he made a cameo appearance.

He left Nigeria with his manager, but Annie joined him later. The mother-of-one, who is now comfortably Mrs Idibia-to-be, left Nigeria on Tuesday March 20.

‘They were often in the studio together’ one insider tells us‘.

‘It was supposed to be a work trip for him. And he did spent plenty time recording and all; but they managed to spend a lot of time together. I think it’s a good thing because they’ve been able to bond well again. It’s a good thing, after all the years of drama preceding their reunion‘ said an Idibia source.

We’re told Annie has taken time off her work as a Nollywood actress; concentrating for now, on wedding plans and cementing her relationship with the man that means the world to her.

And Idibia, a ladies’ man and fun-lover now only has eyes for her, according to those who’s seen them severally these past weeks.

It’s even possible he did not see his hitherto ubiquitous baby Mama Pero Adeniyi while in the US. Pero delivered her third Idibia baby on Easter Sunday April 8. No one has heard a word from her since Idibia proposed to Ms Macauley last February.

2face Idibia’s 5th album is due later this month.
