Nigeria’s Super Falcons and Rivers Angels star, Asisat Oshoala, scooped two prestigious awards at the 2014 edition of the Glo-CAF Awards.
The 20-year old female footballer, who was named the MVP and highest goal scorer at the 2014 FIFA Women’s World Cup, won the Female Player of Year as well as Youth Player of the Year awards at the ceremony held last night, January 8, 2014.
Asisat Oshoala, who started her football career in 2009 with FC Robo, moved to Rivers Angels after a few seasons and was part of the Super Falcons team that triumphed at 2014 African Women’s Championship in impressive terms.
