- Osas was born in Broxn, New York to parents who are native of Ogun state.
- Her full name is Osarienmen Martha Elizabeth Ighodaro but decided to adopt Osas from her middle name as her state name after living the University.
- She studied Journalism at the Pennsylvania State University where she also minored in entrepreneurship studies and theatre.
- She also has a masters degree in Fine Arts which was obtained at Pace University’s Actors Studio Drama School in New York.
- In 2010, she won the Miss Black USA pageant where she represented Connecticut.
