Sammie Okposo, one of the first set of brand ambassadors signed by GLO back in 2006 has been dropped.
In a recent reshuffle by the telecommunications company, Sammie joined other showbiz stars like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Wande Coal and P-Square who were all dropped.

Sammie has confirmed his exit from the company after 10 years with a statement that reads, ‘I’m officially no more a Glo ambassador. Maximum respect, thanks and appreciation to my chairman Sir Dr Mike Adenuga Jnr thank you sir for the opportunity it was a pleasure and a joy to serve as one of your glo ambassadors God bless and keep you sir.’TWALE BABA’. To all the staff of globacom nationwide it was great and exciting meeting and working with you guys fom2006-2016.. 10 Amazing years. It was a good run. God be Praised.’
Coming with the exit of Sammie and other stars was the reveal of Timaya as a new ambassador for the telecoms company.
