In case you were wondering, here is a list of outgoing American president Barack Obama‘s recommended list of science-fiction movies and TV shows which he shares in the November issue of Wired magazine.
Contrary to what a few may believe, Obama is actually a film and TV person and some of the titles in his list are likely to surprise many. Those who are sci-fi fans should be familiar with several of the movies which include Star Wars, Star Trek and The Martian.

According to Obama, he picked 2001: A Space Odyssey because it ‘captures the grandeur and scale of the unknown,’ and Blade Runner because it ‘asks what it means to be human.’
