Colombian singer Shakira has announced she and football star boyfriend Gerard Pique are expecting their first child.
The 35-year-old revealed the good news on her website yesterday, September 19, 2012.
‘As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days’, she wrote.
Shakira who is ten years older than Pique beagn dating the footballer two years ago although she confirmed their relationship just last year when she posted pictures of them on Twitter and Facebook with the caption ‘‘I present to you my sunshine‘ in Spanish.
