Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji was one of the early callers at the premiere event held for Kunle Afolayan‘s new film, October 1.
The pretty actress looked elegant in a black and blue knee length gown she wore to the event but it was clear she had refused to follow the instructions for guests to come in 1960s outfit in line with the theme of the film.
When asked by reporters on the red carpet why she chose to wear an English attire to the event despite the fact that the organizers stipulated a 1960s-inspired dress code for the event, the actress said: ‘I didn’t know about the dress code till very late last night, so I just got into this gown today because I had to be here to support my friend.’
