What started as rumours that Duncan Mighty, popular Ikwerre-born singer, might be getting married soon was confirmed yesterday, November 16, 2014 when he proposed to his girlfriend of 2 years.
Starting the day with a nicely penned Instagram post, on the birthday of the lady known as Vivien yesterday, Duncan Mighty wrote: ‘Happy birthday to my love my sweetheart my ho ho my best friend my mum’s bestie my gf #Vivien. Babe may God continue to bless you. Am speechless in all you’ve been doing. I thank God I have u.2 years we’ve been together is like 20years. I know am ready already.’
Not done with his plans for the day, the self-styled Port Harcourt 1st son, at a private party to celebrate her birthday later in the day held the high brow Hotel Presidential, went on his knees to pop the big question and he was not left disappointed.
The singer posted pictures from the party and his apparently pleasantly boo’s acceptance on Instagram with the caption: ‘And she said YES Please join us thank God’.
