Nigerian writer and cultural icon Chimamanda Adichie was awarded with a honourary doctorate degree at the University of Edinburgh on in August.
Her acceptance speech, like many of her speeches contained gems that one can definitely use in life.
‘I wanted to talk about the kind of world that I dreamed about,’ she said. ‘I dream of a world where we deconstruct masculinity. I dream of a world in which we tell little boys it’s okay to cry…’
